To be with jesus! : இயேசுவோடு இருக்கும்படி! - Daily Devotions 25-03-2016

“Then He appointed twelve that they might be with Him and that He might send them out to preach, and to have power to heal sicknesses and to cast out demons” (Mark:3:14, 15).

When Jesus Christ chose twelve disciples for Him, He did not ask them to preach straight away. He did not asked them to do miracles and signs. First He called them to be with Him. They would be as much useful as much they were with the Lord.

There are two kinds of ministries. One is the ministry to God and the other is the ministry to people. In the Old Testament the priests first ministered to God. They offered incenses in the tabernacles. Then they were worshipping God day and night in the temple. Then they received the sin offerings brought by the people and offered them to God and pleaded for God’s forgiveness as part of their ministry to people. They blessed the people in the name of God.

A man of God had been invited to a Church to preach. H had been staying in a room within the Church campus. On the Sunday allocated to him, the time was running out and even after the fixed time passed he did not come to the pulpit to deliver the message. The pastor sent a boy to the man’s room to bring him but the boy came back and said that the man had replied that he could not come to that church that day. The pastor was surprised and along with the boy rushed to the man’s room to bring him.

When they both reached the man’s room they saw the man praying. “Lord, you please come with me Lord. Unless you do wonders and miracles otherwise I will not go there. Without your presence I am not going to preach today”. This was what the prayer request of the man.

One of the sons of the prophets was cutting a tree and the iron head of the ox fell into the water below and he shouted “Oh no, my lord! It was borrowed!” When the matter was taken to Elisha’s knowledge he did a miracle by making the iron float on water.

Our God is greater to all and He is in our midst. Pray to Him saying “Lord, please be with us. Unless you are with us there is no interest in life. You are our strength, joy, boldness and everything. If you are with us, your right hand will carry us. It will do miracles for us”.

To meditate: “But they constrained Him, saying, “Abide with us, for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent” (Luke 24:29)

"அப்பொழுது அவர் பன்னிரண்டு பேரைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டு, அவர்கள் தம்மோடுகூட இருக்கவும், பிரசங்கம்பண்ணும்படியாகத் தாம் அவர்களை அனுப்பவும், வியாதிகளைக் குணமாக்கிப் பிசாசுகளைத் துரத்தும்படி, அவர்கள் அதிகாரமுடையவர்களாயிருக்கவும், அவர்களை ஏற்படுத்தினார்" (மாற். 3:14,15).

இயேசு கிறிஸ்து தமக்கென்று பன்னிரண்டு சீஷர்களை தெரிந்துகொண்டபோது, உடனடியாக, "பிரசங்கம் பண்ணுங்கள்" என்று சொல்லவில்லை. அற்புதங்கள், அடையாளங்களை நடத்துங்கள் என்று சொல்லவில்லை. முதலாவது அவர் தம்மோ டிருக்கும்படி அழைத்தார். எவ்வளவு அவர்கள் கிறிஸ்துவோடு இருப்பார்களோ அவ்வளவு அவர்கள் பயனுள்ளவர்களாயிருப்பார்கள்.

ஊழியங்களிலே இரண்டு வகை ஊழியம் இருக்கிறது. முதலாவது ஊழியம், கர்த்தருக்குச் செய்கிற ஊழியம். அடுத்த ஊழியம், ஜனங்களுக்கு செய்கிற ஊழியம். பழைய ஏற்பாட்டிலே, ஆசாரியர்கள், முதலாவது தேவனுக்கு செய்தார்கள். ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரத்தில் தூபவர்க்கங்களை ஏறெடுத்தார்கள். பிற்பாடு தேவனுடைய ஆலயத் திலே இரவும், பகலும் கர்த்தரைத் துதித்துக் கொண்டிருந்தார்கள். அடுத்தது, அவர்கள் ஜனங்களுக்கு ஊழியம் செய்யும்படி, அவர்கள் கொண்டு வருகிற பாவ நிவாரண பலிகளை வாங்கி, கர்த்தருக்கு செலுத்தி, அவர்களுடைய பாவ மன்னிப்புக்காக மன்றாடினார்கள். கர்த்தருடைய நாமத்தினாலே தேவ ஜனங்களை ஆசீர்வதித்தார்கள்.

ஒரு ஆலயத்திலே செய்தி கொடுக்கும்படியாக, ஒரு தேவ மனிதனை அழைத் திருந்தார்கள். ஆலயத்தோடு ஒட்டியிருந்த அறையில்தான் அவர் தங்கியிருந்தார். ஆறு மணி, ஏழு மணி, ஏழரை மணியாகி விட்டது. அவர் பிரசங்க மேடைக்கு வரவில்லை. ஆகவே அந்த சபையின் போதகர், ஒரு வாலிபனைப் பார்த்து, "தம்பி நீ போய் அவரை அழைத்துக்கொண்டு வா என்று சொன்னார். போனவன் திரும்பி வந்து, "பாஸ்டர் ஐயா, அந்த பிரசங்கியார் இன்றைக்கு வரமாட்டாராம்" என்று சொன்னதும் அவர் அதிர்ச்சியடைந்தார்.

ஆகவே போதகரும், வாலிபருமாக அவருடைய அறைக்கு மீண்டும் சென்றபோது, அந்த தேவ மனிதன் ஜெபித்துக்கொண்டிருந்தார். "ஆண்டவரே, நீர் என்னோடு வந்து, அற்புதங்களையும், அடையாளங்களையும் செய்யும், செய்யாவிட்டால் நான் இந்த கூட்டத்திற்கு போகமாட்டேன்" என்று சொல்லிக் கொண்டிருந்தார். "ஆண்டவரே, நான் தனிமையாக போகமாட்டேன். உம்முடைய பிரசன்னம் இல்லாமல் போகமாட்டேன். உம்மோடுகூட தான் செல்லுவேன். தனியாக அல்ல" என்பதுதான் அந்த இளம் ஊழியரின் வேண்டுகோள்.

தீர்க்கதரிசிகளின் புத்திரரில் ஒருவன், மரம் வெட்டிக்கொண்டிருந்தபோது, கோடரியிலுள்ள இரும்பு தண்ணீரில் விழுந்துவிட்டது. அது இரவல் வாங்கப்பட்டது. அவன் எலிசாவைப் பார்த்து, "நீர் தயவு செய்து, உம்முடைய அடியாரோடுகூட வரவேண்டும்" என்று விரும்பி கேட்டான். அப்பொழுது எலிசா, "நான் வருகிறேன்" என்று சொன்னார். அந்த கோடரியை மிதக்க செய்து அற்புதம் செய்தார்.

எலிசாவிலும் பெரியவர் நம்முடைய மத்தியிலே இருக்கிறார். வாழ்க்கை பயணத்திலே, "தேவனே, நீர் எங்களோடு இருக்க வேண்டும். நீர் இல்லாவிட்டால் எங்களுடைய வாழ்க்கையிலே எந்த சுவையும் இல்லை. நீர் எங்களோடு இருப்பது தான் எங்களுடைய பெலன், எங்களுடைய மகிழ்ச்சி, தைரியம் எல்லாம். நீர் எங்களோடு இருப்பீரென்றால், உம்முடைய வலது கரம் எங்களை தாங்கும் எங்களுக்கு அற்புதம் செய்யும்" என்று கேளுங்கள்.

நினைவிற்கு:- "நீர் எங்களுடனே தங்கியிரும். சாயங்காலமாயிற்று. பொழுதும் போயிற்று என்று அவரைவருந்திக் கேட்டுக்கொண்டார்கள்" (லூக். 24:29).
