Is There a Short-cut? | குறுக்கு வழி உண்டா?

" ஆண்டவராகிய கர்த்தரால் மரணத்திற்கு நீங்கும் வழிகளுண்டு" (சங். 68:20).

" பரலோகத்திற்கு குறுக்கு வழி உண்டா?" என்று ஒரு முதியவர் கேட்டாராம். காரணம், அவர் வாழ்நாளெல்லாம் குறுக்கு வழிகளிலேயே சென்று பழக்கப்பட்டவர். அநேக ஜனங்கள் குறுக்கு வழியிலேயே பழக்கப்பட்டு நேர் வழிகளைக் குறித்து அறியாமலேயே இருக்கிறார்கள்.

புதிய ஏற்பாட்டின் நாட்களில், பணம் கொடுத்து கர்த்தருடைய வரத்தை குறுக்கு வழியில் சம்பாதித்துக் கொள்ளலாம் என்று சீமோன் என்ற மாயவித்தைக்காரன் எண்ணினான். பேதுரு அவனைப் பார்த்து, "தேவனுடைய வரத்தை பணத்தினாலே சம்பாதித்துக்கொள்ளலாமென்று நீ நினைத்தபடியினால் உன் பணம் உன்னோடேகூட நாசமாய்ப் போகக்கடவது. உன் இருதயம் தேவனுக்கு முன்பாகச் செம்மையாய் யிராதபடியால், இந்த விஷயத்திலே உனக்குப் பங்குமில்லை பாகமுமில்லை" (அப். 8:20,21) என்று கடிந்து கொண்டான். தேவனுடைய காரியங்களுக்கு குறுக்கு வழிகள் ஒரு போதும் துணை புரியாது.

" பாவம் மன்னிக்கப்பட குறுக்கு வழி எதுவாகிலும் உண்டா?" என்று கேட்கிறவர்கள், தான தர்மம் செய்து விட்டாலோ, கோவில் உண்டியலில் பெரும் தொகையை போட்டுவிட்டாலோ, பாவம் நீங்கிவிடும் என்று கருதுகிறார்கள். இன்னும் சிலர் பழைய வருஷத்தின் முடிவிலே ஒரு காற்றாடியின் மேல் தங்களுடைய பாவங்களையெல்லாம் எழுதி, உயர பறக்கவிட்டு கயிற்றை அறுத்துவிட்டால் தங்களுடைய பாவங்களும் காற்றோடு காற்றாகப் போய்விடும் என்றுகூட எண்ணுகிறார்கள். ஆனால் இவையெல்லாம் பாவங்களைப் போக்குவதில்லை.

பாவம் நீங்க ஒரே வழி இயேசுவின் இரத்தத்தால் கழுவப்படுவதுதான். நேர் வழியாக நீங்கள் "ஆண்டவரே, நான் ஒரு பாவி. பரத்திற்கு விரோதமாகவும் உமக்கு விரோதமாகவும் பாவம் செய்தேன். நீர் எனக்காக கல்வாரி சிலுவையிலே ஜீவனைக் கொடுத்தீர் என்று விசுவாசிக்கிறேன். என்னுடைய பாவங்களையெல்லாம் எனக்கு மன்னியும்" என்று கேட்பீர்களென்றால், நிச்சயமாகவே இயேசுவின் இரத்தம் சகல பாவங்களையும் நீக்கி உங்களை சுத்திகரிக்கும்.

ஒருமுறை ஒருவர் பரலோகத்தின் வாசலை கிட்டிச் சேர்ந்தாராம். காபிரியேல் தூதன் அவரைப் பார்த்து, "உன்னை பரலோகத்திலே சேர்ப்பதற்கு உன்னிடத்தில் என்ன தகுதி இருக்கிறது?" என்று கேட்டாராம். இது அந்த பக்தனை அதிகமாய் சிந்திக்க வைத்தது. நான் வாரந்தோறும் ஆலயத்திற்கு ஒழுங்காக போவேன் என்று சொல்லுவதா? காணிக்கைகளெல்லாம் ஒழுங்காகக் கொடுக்கிறேன் என்று சொல்லுவதா? தினமும் பாட்டுப்பாடி ஜெபம் பண்ணுவேன், நான் பொய் சொல்லவில்லை, திருடவில்லை, எந்த பாவமும் செய்யவில்லையென்று சொல்லுவதா? வாசலைத்தாண்டி பரலோகத்திற்குள் செல்வதற்கு எதை வழியாகச் சொல்லுவது என்று சிந்தித்துப் பார்த்தார்.

முடிவிலே, அவர் "கர்த்தர் தம்முடைய இரத்தத்தை சிந்தி என்னை அவருடைய பிள்ளையாக்கியிருக்கிறார். அவருடைய கிருபையினாலே நான் தகுதி பெற்றிருக்கிறேன்" என்று சொன்னாராம். உடனே பரலோகத்தின் வாசல்கள் திறவுண்டன. தேவபிள்ளைகளே, பரலோகத்திற்கு செல்ல எந்த குறுக்கு வழியும் கிடையாது. இயேசு ஒருவரேயல்லாமல் ஒருவனும் பிதாவினிடத்தில் சேரான். அவரே வழியும், சத்தியமும், ஜீவனுமாயிருக்கிறார் (யோவான் 14:6).

நினைவிற்கு:- "ஒருவன் என் வார்த்தையைக் கைக்கொண்டால் அவன் என்றென்றைக்கும் மரணத்தைக் காண்பதில்லை என்று மெய்யாகவே மெய்யாகவே உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன் " (யோவா. 8:51).

“... to God the Lord belong escapes from death” (Psalm 68:20).

An elderly person asked, “Is there a short-cut to reach heaven.” He was a person who had been doing everything in short-cuts for the whole of his life and that is why such a question came from him. The proper ways to do things are unknown to many people since they are always used to short-cut ways.

During the days of the New Testament, a sorcerer by name Simon thought that the gift of God could be bought by money. Peter condemned him saying, “Your money perish with you, because you thought that the gift of God could be purchased with money! You have neither part nor portion in this matter, for your heart is not right in the sight of God” (Acts 8:20, 21). The short-cut methods will never help a person in divine things.

Those who ask the question “Is there a short-cut for the sins to be forgiven?” think that the sins could be cleared by involving in some charity activities or by dropping huge sum of money in the hundies kept at temples. Some people even go to the extent of thinking that all the sins should be listed out and the list should be attached to a kite. When the kite is flying high, if it is cut off, the sins along with the kite will be blown away in the air. But these funny things can never clear sins.

Getting washed in the blood of Jesus is the only way to get the sins cleared. If you plead to God saying, “Lord, I am a sinner. I have sinned against heaven and in your sight. I fully believe that you have sacrificed your life on the Cross of Calvary for my sake. Forgive all my sins” the blood of Jesus will wash all your sins and cleanse you.

An imaginary story goes this way. Once, a person reached the entrance of heaven. Angel Gabriel who was there asked the man in what way he was qualified to enter into heaven. This question made the man think a lot. He began to think about what would be the right answer to this question. His thoughts went this way: ‘Whether to say that he was attending church services regularly or about his prompt giving of offertory to the church or about his habit of regularly singing and praying to God or about his good habit of not speaking lies or for staying without committing any sins’ and so on.

In the end, leaving out all these things he told “God has shed His blood and has made me His child. With His grace, I have become fit to enter.” Dear children of God, there is no short-cut to reach heaven. “No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6).

To meditate: “Most assuredly, I say to you, if anyone keeps my word he shall never see death” (John 8:51).
