நம்பிக்கையின் பாக்கியங்கள்! | Blessings of Trust!

"கர்த்தரை நம்புகிறவர்கள் என்றென்றைக்கும் அசையாமல் நிலைத்திருக்கும் சீயோன் பர்வதத்தைப்போல் இருப்பார்கள்" (சங்125:1).

தாவீது அந்த அழகிய பெரிய "சீயோன் பர்வதத்தை" சுட்டிக் காண்பித்து, "பாருங்கள், அந்த சீயோன் பர்வதம் எவ்வளவு மேன்மையாய், மகிமையாய், என்றென்றைக்கும் நிலைத்திருக்கிறதாயிருக்கிறது. கர்த்தரை நம்புகிறவர்கள் அவ்வண்ணமாகவே நித்தியமாய் நிலைத்திருப்பார்கள்" என்று சொல்லுகிறார்.

ஒரு கிறிஸ்தவ சகோதரனுடைய கடையிலே ஒரு வசனம் எழுதப்பட்டு தொங்கவிடப்பட்டிருந்தது. அந்த வசனம் "கர்த்தரை நம்புகிறவனோ செழிப்பான்" (நீதி. 28:25) என்பதாகும். அந்த சகோதரன், நான் இந்த கடையை ஆரம்பிக்கும்போது என் கையில் ஒன்றும் இல்லாமலிருந்தது. கர்த்தர் கொடுத்த இந்த வாக்குத்தத்தத்தை நம்பி இந்த கடையை ஆரம்பித்திருக்கிறேன். நான் நிச்சயமாய் செழிப்பேன். என்னுடைய வியாபாரம் செழிக்கும்" என்று சொன்னார். பாருங்கள், கர்த்தரை நம்புகிறவர்களுக்கு ஒரு பெரிய நம்பிக்கையும், எதிர்பார்ப்புமுண்டு.

கர்த்தரை நம்புகிறவர்கள் பாக்கியவான்கள்தான். அவர்கள் மற்ற எல்லோரைப் பார்க்கிலும் விசேஷித்தவர்கள். தாவீது சொல்லுகிறார், "சேனைகளின் கர்த்தாவே உம்மை நம்பியிருக்கிற மனுஷன் பாக்கியவான்" (சங். 84:12), "யாக்கோபின் தேவனை தன் துணையாகக் கொண்டிருந்து, தன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் மேல் நம்பிக்கையை வைக்கிறவன் பாக்கியவான்" (சங். 146:5).

தாவீது தன் நம்பிக்கையை சிறுவயதிலேயே கர்த்தர்பேரில் வைத்திருந்தபடியினால், அவருடைய வாழ்க்கை ஆசீர்வாதமாயிருந்தது. அவர் எழுதுகிறார், "என் தாயின் முலைப்பாலை நான் உண்கையில் என்னை உம்முடைய பேரில் நம்பிக்கையாயிருக்கப் பண்ணினீர். கர்ப்பத்திலிருந்து வெளிப்பட்டபோதே உமது சார்பில் விழுந்தேன்; நான் என் தாயின் வயிற்றில் இருந்தது முதல் நீர் என் தேவனாயிருக்கிறீர்" (சங். 22:9,10). "கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவரே, நீரே என் நோக்கமும், என் சிறுவயது தொடங்கி என் நம்பிக்கையுமாயிருக்கிறீர்" (சங்.71:5).

தாவீது தன் நம்பிக்கையையெல்லாம் கர்த்தர் பேரில் வைத்திருந்தபடியினாலே வெட்கப்பட்டு போனதேயில்லை. "கர்த்தரை நம்பியிருக்கிறவனையோ கிருபை சூழ்ந்து கொள்ளும்" (சங். 32:10) என்ற வசனத்தின்படி தாவீதை கர்த்தருடைய கிருபை சூழ்ந்துகொண்டது. தாவீதை மேற்கொள்ள யாராலும் முடியவில்லை. நீங்கள் ஜெயங்கொண்டவர்களாய் விளங்க உங்கள் முழு நம்பிக்கையையும் கர்த்தர் மேலேயே வைப்பீர்களாக.

தாவீது கர்த்தரை நம்பிக்கையாய் கொண்டதைப் போல மற்றவர்களும் கர்த்தர் மேல் நம்பிக்கை வைக்கவேண்டுமென்று ஆசைப்பட்டார். ஆகவே அவர் தன் முதிர்வயதில் "இஸ்ரவேலே, கர்த்தரை நம்பு; அவரே அவர்களுக்குத் துணையும் அவர்களுக்குக் கேடகமுமாயிருக்கிறார். ஆரோன் குடும்பத்தாரே, கர்த்தரை நம்புங்கள்; அவரே அவர்களுக்குத் துணையும் அவர்களுக்குக் கேடகமுமாயிருக்கிறார். கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுகிறவர்களே, கர்த்தரை நம்புங்கள்; அவரே அவர்களுக்கு துணையும் அவர்களுக்குக் கேடகமுமாயிருக்கிறார்" (சங். 115:9-11) என்று குறிப்பிட்டார். தேவபிள்ளைகளே, கர்த்தரை நம்புங்கள்.

நினைவிற்கு:- "இதுமுதல் என்றென்றைக்கும் இஸ்ரவேல் கர்த்தரை நம்பியிருப்பதாக" (சங்.131:3).

“Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever” (Psalm 125:1).

David points to that big and beautiful Mount Zion and says, "See, how greatly and gloriously that Mount Zion abides forever. Those who trust in the Lord will abide forever in the same way."

A verse was hanging on the walls of a shop run by a Christian brother. The verse was, “He who trusts in the Lord will be prospered” (Proverbs 28:25). That brother said, "I had nothing with me when I opened this shop. I have opened this shop placing my total faith on the promise given by God. I will surely succeed and my business will surely flourish.” See, those who believe God will have a big hope and expectation.

Those who believe God are indeed blessed. They are special when compared to all others. David says, “O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man who trusts in you!” (Psalm 84:12). “Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God” (Psalm 146:5).

David had placed his faith on God at a young age itself and so his life was a blessed one. He writes, "But you are He who took me out of the womb; you made me trust while on my mother’s breasts. I was cast upon you from birth. From my mother’s womb, you have been my God." (Psalm 22:9, 10). “For you are my hope, O Lord God; you are my trust from my youth” (Psalm 71:5).

David was never put to shame as he had placed his total faith on God. As Psalm 32:10 says, “Many sorrows shall be to the wicked; but he who trusts in the Lord, mercy shall surround him,” the grace of God surrounded David. Nobody was able to overcome David. You may place your faith in God alone to stay victorious.

David wished all others to place their faith in God similar to how he had done. That is why he said in his elderly age, “O Israel, trust in the Lord; he is their help and their shield. O house of Aaron, trust in the Lord; he is their help and their shield. You, who fear the Lord, trust in the Lord; he is their help and their shield” (Psalm 115:9-11). Dear children of God, Trust in the Lord.

To meditate: “O Israel, hope in the Lord from this time forth and forever” (Psalm 131:3).
