நிந்தித்தவன்! | One Who Reproaches!

"என்னை நிந்தித்தவன் சத்துரு அல்ல, அப்படியிருந்தால் சகிப்பேன்; எனக்கு விரோதமாய்ப் பெருமை பாராட்டினவன் என் பகைஞன் அல்ல, அப்படியிருந்தால் அவனுக்கு மறைந்திருப்பேன்" (சங். 55:12).

உண்மையான பகைஞர்களுமுண்டு. நண்பனைப்போல தங்களைக் காண்பித்து, கழுத்தை அறுத்து விடுகிறவர்களுமுண்டு. சிலர் உதவி செய்ய வருவதைப்போல முன்வந்து தீங்கு செய்து விட்டு போய்விடுவார்கள்.

இரட்சண்ய சேனை ஸ்தாபனத்தை நிறுவிய ஜென்ரல் வில்லியம் பூத் அவர்களுடைய ஊழியத்தைக் குறித்து வாசித்துப் பார்த்தால் அவர்கள் எத்தனை பயங்கரமான தாக்குதல்களுக்கு ஆளானார்கள் என்பதை அறியலாம். செய்தித்தாள்களும், கிறிஸ்தவ பத்திரிகைகளும், விமர்சகர்களும் கடினமான வார்த்தைகளைப் பயன்படுத்தி, அவரைக் கேலி செய்து துன்புறுத்தினார்கள்.

தன் தகப்பனுக்கு இழைக்கப்படுகிற அநீதிகளைக் குறித்து அவருடைய மகன் கவலையடைந்தபோது, அவர் மகனைப் பார்த்து, "மகனே, நம்மைக் குறித்து என்ன மதிப்பிடுகிறார்கள் என்பது முக்கியம் அல்ல. நம்மேல் கர்த்தர் எவ்வளவு அன்பும் எதிர்பார்ப்பும் வைத்திருக்கிறார் என்பதுதான் முக்கியம். ஆகவே குற்றச்சாட்டுக்களைக் குறித்து கவலைப்படாமல் கர்த்தருடைய பணியை நாம் எந்த அளவுக்கு செய்திருக்கிறோம் என்பதிலே கண்ணும் கருத்துமுடையவர்களா இருப்போம்" என்றார்.

போற்றுவார் போற்றட்டும். புழுதி வாரி தூற்றுவார் தூற்றட்டும். குற்றஞ் சாட்டுகிறவர்கள் குற்றஞ்சாட்டிக் கொண்டேயிருக்கட்டும். கர்த்தருடைய வருகை சமீபமாயிருக்கிறபடியினாலே, தேவன் உங்களுக்கு நியமித்திருக்கிற ஓட்டத்திலே பொறுமையோடே ஓடுங்கள்.

ஒரு வேடிக்கையான கதை உண்டு. ஒரு தீக்கோழி சில முட்டைகளை அடை காத்துக் கொண்டிருந்தது. ஒரு நாள் சற்றே நடந்துபோய் தண்ணீர் குடித்து, உணவு அருந்திவிட்டு வரலாம் என்று போயிருந்த நேரத்தில் ஒரு யானை அந்த பக்கமாய் வந்தது. முட்டைகள் திறந்திருந்ததைக் கண்டவுடன், "ஐயோ தாய் கோழி அடைகாப்பதை விட்டுவிட்டு எங்கோ போவிட்டதே நாம் உதவி செய்யலாமே" என்று யானை எண்ணி தீக்கோழிக்கு பதிலாக அடைகாக்கும்படி முட்டையின்மேல் வந்து அமர்ந்தது. அந்த முட்டையின் நிலைமை என்னவாகியிருக்கும் என்பதையும், தாய்கோழி வந்து பார்த்தபோது அது எவ்விதமாய் அங்கலாத்திருந்திருக்கும் என்பதையும் நீங்கள் உணர்ந்து கொள்ளலாம்.

சிலர் உதவி செய்வதைப்போல வந்து உபத்திரவப்படுத்தி விடுகிறார்கள். அப். பவுலுக்கும் இப்படிப்பட்ட பிரச்சனைகள் ஏராளமாய் இருந்தன. அவர் எழுதுகிறார், "சிலர் பொறாமையினாலும் விரோதத்தினாலும், சிலர் நல்மனதினாலும் கிறிஸ்துவைப் பிரசங்கிக்கிறார்கள். சிலர் என் கட்டுகளோடே உபத்திரவத்தையுங் கூட்ட நினைத்து, சுத்தமனதோடே கிறிஸ்துவை அறிவியாமல், விரோதத்தினாலே அறிவிக்கிறார்கள்" (பிலி. 1:15,16). தேவபிள்ளைகளே, பரிசுத்தவான்கள் நடந்த பாதையிலே நீங்கள் நடப்பீர்களாக. யார் உங்களுக்கு எதிர்நின்றாலும், யார் அநியாயமாய் குற்றஞ்சாட்டினாலும் கர்த்தர் உங்கள் பட்சத்தில் நிற்கிறார் என்பதை மறந்து போகாதேயுங்கள்.

நினைவிற்கு:- "இவைகளைக் குறித்து நாம் என்ன சொல்லுவோம்? தேவன் நம்முடைய பட்சத்திலிருந்தால் நமக்கு விரோதமாயிருப்பவன் யார்?" (ரோம. 8:31).

“For it is not an enemy who reproaches me; then I could bear it. Nor is it one who hates me who has exalted himself against me; then I could hide from him” (Psalm 55:12).

True enemies are there and at the same time, some people pretend like friends but get involved in cut-throat activities.

General William Booth is the founder of the Salvation Army and when we read about his ministry we can understand how he was subjected to brutal attacks. The newspapers, Christian journals and the critics used hard language against him, mocked and insulted him.

His son felt very sad at the injustice meted out to his father. William Booth comforted him saying, “Son, it is not important that how we are valued. What is important is that to what extent God has love and expectations towards us. So, without giving much importance to the accusations, let us fully concentrate over to what level we have done God’s work”

Let those who accuse, keep on accusing and those who find fault, continue to do so. Since the Coming of God is near, you run with endurance in the race that is set before you.

There is a funny story. An ostrich which was hatching its eggs took a break, walked a little to have some food and water. An elephant which came that way saw the eggs and with the thought of helping the ostrich sat on the eggs to continue hatching. You can easily understand what would have happened to the eggs and on return how sad the ostrich might have been.

Some people pretend as though they are helping but in fact what they cause will be trouble. Paul the Apostle also had numerous problems like this. He writes, “Some indeed preach Christ even from envy and strife and some also from goodwill: The former preach Christ from selfish ambition, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my chains” (Philippians 1:15, 16).

Dear children of God, may you walk in the path in which the righteous walked. Let whoever oppose you, whoever falsely accuse you, do not forget that God is standing beside you.

To meditate: “What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31).
