நினைவுகூருங்கள்! | Remember!

"உன்னை இந்த நாற்பது வருஷமளவும் வனாந்தரத்திலே நடத்திவந்த எல்லா வழியையும் நினைப்பாயாக" (உபா. 8:2).

கர்த்தர் உங்களை நடத்திக்கொண்டு வந்த எல்லா பாதைகளையும் நினைவுகூர்ந்து அவ்வப்போது நன்றியோடு அவரை துதிப்பது, கர்த்தருடைய அற்புதமான நன்மைகளையும் கிருபைகளையும் பெற்றுத்தரும். அவ்வண்ணமாய் நீங்கள் அவரை நினைவுகூர வேண்டுமென்றும், துதிக்க வேண்டுமென்றும் கர்த்தர் எதிர்பார்க்கிறார்.

முதலாவது, கர்த்தரை நினைவுகூருங்கள். "உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரை நினைப்பாயாக" (உபா. 8:18) என்று வேதம் சொல்லுகிறது. உங்களுடைய மேன்மைக்கு காரணம், உங்களுடைய தாழ்விலே உங்களை நினைத்த கர்த்தரேயாகும். ஒவ்வொருநாளும் உங்களை அருமையாக வழி நடத்தி வருகிறார். ஆகவே நீங்கள் முதலாவது கர்த்தரை நினைவுகூர்ந்து அவரை ஸ்தோத்தரியுங்கள்.

இரண்டாவது, கர்த்தருடைய வழிகளை நினைவுகூருங்கள். வேதம் சொல்லுகிறது, "உன்னை வனாந்தரத்திலே நடத்தி வந்த எல்லா வழியையும் நினைப்பாயாக" (உபா. 8:2) ஆம்! நாற்பது ஆண்டுகள் கர்த்தர் அருமையாக இஸ்ரவேல் ஜனங்களை வனாந்தரத்திலே வழிநடத்தினார். நீங்கள் சிறு பிள்ளையாக இருந்த நாட்களிலிருந்து கர்த்தர் உங்களை வழி நடத்தி வந்த எல்லா பாதைகளையும் நினைவுகூர்ந்து கர்த்தருக்கு ஸ்தோத்திரம் செலுத்துங்கள்.

மூன்றாவது, கர்த்தருடைய அதிசயங்களை நினைவு கூருங்கள். வேதம் சொல்லுகிறது: "அவர் செய்த அதிசயங்களையும் அவர் செய்த அற்புதங்களையும் நினைவுகூருங்கள்" (1 நாளா. 16:13). கர்த்தர் ஆராய்ந்து முடியாத பெரிய காரியங்களையும் எண்ணி முடியாத அதிசயங்களையும் செய்கிறவர். அவர் அதிசயமானவர் (ஏசா. 9:6).

யோசுவா யோர்தான் நதியை கடந்து கானானுக்குள் பிரவேசிக்க வேண்டியதாயிருந்தது. ஆனால் யோர்தானிலோ பயங்கரமான வெள்ளங்கள் மோதியடித்துக் கொண்டிருந்தன. கர்த்தரின் சொற்படி உடன்படிக்கைப் பெட்டி சுமக்கிற ஆசாரியர்கள் தங்களுடைய கால்களை யோர்தானில் வைத்தபோது, அந்த யோர்தான் பின்னிட்டுத் திரும்பியது. இஸ்ரவேல் ஜனங்கள் எல்லாரும் வெட்டாந்தரையிலே நடந்து செல்வதுபோல யோர்தானை கடந்து சென்றார்கள். யோசுவா அந்த அதிசயத்தை மறந்துவிடவில்லை. அந்த யோர்தான் நதியின் அருகாமையில் பன்னிரண்டு கோத்திரங்களுக்கு அடையாளமாக பன்னிரண்டு கற்களை எடுத்து ஞாபகார்த்த சின்னமாக்கினார். காலாகாலமாகவே அது இஸ்ரவேலருக்கு ஞாபகார்த்தசின்னமாக விளங்கிற்று.

தேவபிள்ளைகளே, நீங்கள் கர்த்தரை அன்புடன் நினைவுகூர்ந்து அவருடைய அதிசயங்களுக்காக அவரை துதிக்கும்போது, அவர் உங்கள் வாழ்க்கையிலே அற்புதங்களைச் செய்துகொண்டேயிருப்பார், உங்களை ஆசீர்வதித்துக்கொண்டேயிருப்பார், உங்களை உயர்த்தி மேன்மைப்படுத்திக் கொண்டே இருப்பார்.

நினைவிற்கு:- "ஆயிரந்தலைமுறைகளுக்கென்று அவர் கட்டளையிட்ட வாக்கையும், ஆபிரகாமோடோ அவர் பண்ணின உடன்படிக்கையையும், அவர் ஈசாக்குக்கு இட்ட ஆணையையும் என்றென்றைக்கும் நினைத்திருக்கிறார்" (சங். 105:8,9).

“And you shall remember that the Lord your God led you all the way these forty years in the wilderness” (Deuteronomy 8:2).

Remembering and also praising Him with gratitude for the way He led us at different paths will fetch you God's wonderful good things and grace. God expects you to remember Him and praise Him that way.

First of all, remember God. The Scripture says, “And you shall remember the Lord your God” (Deuteronomy 8:18). The cause of your exaltation is God who remembered you in your lowly state. Every day He is guiding you wonderfully. So, firstly you remember God and praise Him.

Secondly, remember the ways of God. The Scripture says, “And you shall remember that the Lord your God led you all the way these forty years in the wilderness” (Deuteronomy 8:2). Yes. He wonderfully guided the children of Israel for forty years in the wilderness. Remember how God guided you from your childhood till date and praise Him.

Thirdly, remember the wonders of God. The Scripture says, “Remember His marvellous works which He has done, His wonders....” (I Chronicles 16:13). God does great things and unsearchable, marvellous things without number. His Name will be called wonderful (Isaiah 9:6).

Joshua had to cross the Jordan river to enter into Canaan. But at that time Jordan was inundated. As per the Word of God, when the feet of the priests carrying the Ark of the Covenant touched the water's edge, the water stopped flowing and the water piled up in a heap at a distance. The children of Israel crossed Jordan as though they were walking in a plain field. Joshua did not forget this miracle. He built a memorial near the river with twelve stones representing the twelve tribes. It remained as a memorial to the children of Israel for years to come.

Dear children of God, God will keep on doing wonders in your life if you remember Him with love and praise Him for His wonders. He will keep on blessing you. He will raise you and keep on exalting you.

To meditate: “He remembers His covenant forever, the word which He commanded, for a thousand generations. The covenant which He made with Abraham and His oath to Isaac” (Psalm 105:8, 9).
