"ஆவியின் முதற்பலன்களைப் பெற்ற நாமும்கூட நம்முடைய சரீர மீட்பாகிய புத்திர சுவிகாரம் வருகிறதற்கு காத்திருந்து, நமக்குள்ளே தவிக்கிறோம்" (ரோமர் 8:23).

தேவனுடைய பிள்ளைகளுக்கென்று ஒரு தவிப்பு உண்டு. அது உலகப் பொருளுக்காகவும், பதவிகளுக்காகவும், செல்வங்களுக்காகவும் ஏங்கி தவிக்கிற தவிப்பல்ல, ஒரு மேன்மையான தவிப்பைக் குறித்து அப். பவுல் எழுதுகிறார்.

இந்த தவிப்பு எதைக் குறிக்கிறது? கர்த்தருடைய மகிமையான வருகைக்காக ஆவலோடு ஏங்கி தவிக்கிறதைக் குறிக்கிறது. அந்த நாளில் நீங்கள் கர்த்தரை முகமுகமாய்க் காண்பீர்கள். அவருடைய சாயலுக்கு ஒப்பாக மறுரூபமாக்கப்படுவீர்கள். அதோடு உங்களுடைய பாடுகள், துக்கங்களெல்லாம் ஒழிந்து போகும். உங்கள் உள்ளத்தின் தவிப்பு அன்றைக்குதான் நிறைவேறும். இந்த தவிப்பு தவித்த அப். பவுல், "கிறிஸ்துவும் அநேகருடைய பாவங்களை சுமந்து தீர்க்கும்படிக்கு ஒரேதரம் பலியிடப்பட்டு தமக்காகக் காத்துக்கொண்டிருக்கிறவர்களுக்கு இரட்சிப்பை அருளும்படி இரண்டாந்தரம் பாவமில்லாமல் தரிசனமானார்" (எபி. 9:28) என்று குறிப்பிடுகிறார்.

இந்த தவிப்பு நிறைவேறும்போது உங்களுடைய சரீர மீட்பாகிய புத்திர சுவிகாரம் உங்களுக்குக் கிடைக்கிறது. மண்ணான உங்களுடைய சரீரம் மகிமையின் சரீரத்தை சுதந்தரித்துக் கொள்ளும்; அழிவுள்ள இந்த சரீரம் அழியாமையை சுதந்தரித்துக் கொள்ளும். இந்த சரீரத்திலிருந்து இந்தப் போர்வையை களைந்துபோட்டு இந்த கூடாரத்தை விட்டுச் செல்லும்போது உங்களுடைய உள்ளான மனுஷன் கிறிஸ்துவின் சாயலுக்கு ஒப்பான மகிமையை தரித்துக்கொள்ளும். அதுவே தேவன் உங்களுக்குக் கொடுத்திருக்கிற வாக்குத்தத்தம்.

வேதம் சொல்லுகிறது, "இந்தக் கூடாரத்திலே நாம் தவித்து, நம்முடைய பரம வாசஸ்தலத்தைத் தரித்துக் கொள்ள மிகவும் வாஞ்சையுள்ளவர்களாயிருக்கிறோம் (2 கொரி. 5:2). "அவர் வெளிப்படும்போது அவர் இருக்கிற வண்ணமாகவே நாம் அவரைத் தரிசிப்பதினால், அவருக்கு ஒப்பாயிருப்போமென்று அறிந்திருக்கிறோம் (1 யோவா 3:2).

பழைய ஏற்பாட்டு, பரிசுத்தவானாகிய யோபுவும்கூட தன்னுடைய சரீர மீட்பாகிய புத்திர சுவிகாரம் வருகிறதற்கு காத்திருந்து தனக்குள்ளே தவித்தார், ஏங்கினார் என்று வாசிக்கலாம். யோபு சொல்லுகிறார், "இந்த என் தோல் முதலானவை அழுகிப்போன பின்பு, நான் என் மாம்சத்தில் இருந்து தேவனைப் பார்ப்பேன். அவரை நானே பார்ப்பேன்; அந்நிய கண்கள் அல்ல, என் கண்களே அவரைக் காணும்; இந்த வாஞ்சையால் என் உள்ளந்திரியங்கள் எனக்குள் சோர்ந்து போகிறது (யோபு 19:26,27).

உங்களுடைய உள்ளம் கர்த்தருடைய வருகைக்காக எதிர்பார்த்துக் கொண்டிருக்கிறதா? நீங்கள் எந்த நிலைமையிலிருந்தாலும் கர்த்தருடைய வருகைக்காக ஆவலோடு காத்துக் கொண்டிருந்து பரிசுத்தத்தில் நிலைநிற்பீர்களென்றால், அவருடைய வருகை உங்களுக்கு மிகுந்த சந்தோஷத்தையும், சமாதானத்தையும் கொண்டு வரும்.

நினைவிற்கு:- "தேவனுடைய புத்திரர் வெளிப்படுவதற்குச் சிருஷ்டியானது மிகுந்த ஆவலோடே காத்துக் கொண்டிருக்கிறது. சர்வ சிருஷ்டியும் ஏகமாய்த் தவித்து பிரசவ வேதனைப்படுகிறது" (ரோமர் 8:19,22).

“Not only that, but we also who have the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body” (Romans 8:23).

There is a groan exclusively for the children of God. It is not a one for the worldly things, status or wealth but a great factor. Paul the Apostle writes about this as above.

What does this groan point out? It points out the glorious coming of God for which we are eagerly waiting. You will be meeting God face to face on that day. You will be transformed into His image. With that, all your sufferings and sorrows will vanish. The groaning of your heart will be fulfilled on that day. Paul the Apostle who experienced this groaning points out, "...Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him, He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation" (Hebrews 9:28).

When this groan is fulfilled, you receive adoption which is the redemption of your body. Your body which is the mud will inherit the body of glory. This perishable body will inherit imperishability. When the body leaves the tent after getting unclothed, your inner man will inherit the glory of Christ's image. That is the promise God has given you.

The Scripture says, “For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed with our habitation which is from heaven” (II Corinthians 5:2). “...we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is” (I John 3:2).

Job who is a saint of the Old Testament groaned within himself longing for the adoption which is the redemption of the body, to come. Job says, “And after my skin is destroyed, this I know, that in my flesh I shall see God Whom I shall see for myself and my eyes shall behold and not another. How my heart yearns within me!” (Job 19:26, 27).

Is your heart expecting the coming of God? Whatever be the situation you are in, if you stand steadfast in holiness and eagerly wait for His coming, His coming will bring you lot of happiness and peace.

To meditate: “For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God for we know that the whole creation groans and labours with birth pangs together until now” (Romans 8:19, 22).
