"ஐயா, இயேசுவைக் காண விரும்புகிறோம் என்று அவனைக் கேட்டுக்கொண்டார்கள்" (யோவான் 12:21).

இயேசுவைக் காண விரும்புகிறோம் என்பதே ஆயிரக்கணக்கான மக்களின் வாஞ்சை. இந்த வாஞ்சை இன்று மட்டுமல்ல, உலக தோற்றம் முதற்கொண்டே ஆயிரமாயிரம் பரிசுத்தவான்களின் வாஞ்சையாகவும் இருக்கிறது.

ஆஸ்பத்திரியிலே, டாக்டரைக் காண வேண்டும் என்று ஆட்கள் உட்கார்ந்திருக்கிறார்கள். மந்திரி வீட்டிலே மந்திரியை பார்க்க வேண்டுமென்று உட்கார்ந்திருக்கிறார்கள். கல்லூரியிலே, பிள்ளைகளுக்கு இடம் கிடைக்க வேண்டும் என்பதற்காக பெற்றோர்கள் கல்லூரி முதல்வரின் அறைக்கு முன்பாக உட்கார்ந்திருக்கிறார்கள். இவர்களெல்லாம் உலகப்பிரகாரமான நன்மைகளுக்காக காத்துக்கொண்டிருக்கிறார்கள்.

நீங்கள் இயேசுவை காண விரும்புவீர்களென்றால், அது நித்தியமான ஆசீர்வாதங்களை உங்களுக்குக் கொண்டு வரும். சிலர் சரீர நோய் நீங்குவதற்காக, சிலர் சாபத்தின் கட்டுகள் முறிப்பதற்காக, இன்னும் சிலர் இரட்சிப்பின் சந்தோஷத்தால் நிரப்பப்படவும் பரிசுத்த ஆவியின் அபிஷேகத்தினால் நிரம்பி வழியவும் கிறிஸ்துவண்டை வருகிறார்கள். கர்த்தர் தம்மை நாடி வருகிறவர்களுக்கு, நித்திய ஜீவனையும் பரலோக வாசஸ்தலங்களையும் வாக்களித்திருக்கிறார்.

தேவபிள்ளைகளே, இயேசுவை காண வேண்டுமே என்கிற வாஞ்சை உங்களுக்கு உண்டா? அவருடைய பொன் முகத்தை தரிசிக்க வேண்டுமே என்கிற தரிசனம் உங்களுக்கு உண்டா? அவருடைய சாயலில் திருப்தியாக வேண்டுமே என்கிற இடைவிடாத தாகம் உங்களுக்கு உண்டா?

நீங்கள் அவரைக் காண வாஞ்சிப்பதைப்போல கர்த்தரும் உங்களைக் காண வாஞ்சையுள்ளவராயிருக்கிறார். இயேசு சொன்னார், "வருத்தப்பட்டுப் பாரஞ்சுமக்கிறவர்களே! நீங்கள் எல்லாரும் என்னிடத்தில் வாருங்கள்; நான் உங்களுக்கு இளைப்பாறுதல் தருவேன்" (மத். 11:28). தன்னண்டை வருகிறவனை அவர் புறம்பே தள்ளுவதில்லை. கர்த்தரைக் காண என்ன வழி என்றும் அவரை தரிசிப்பதற்கு எதையெல்லாம் கைக்கொள்ள வேண்டும் என்றும் ஒருவேளை நீங்கள் கேட்கலாம். வேதம் சொல்லுகிறது, "இருதயத்தில் சுத்தமுள்ளவர்கள் பாக்கியவான்கள்; அவர்கள் தேவனைத் தரிசிப்பார்கள்" (மத். 5:8)

இருதயத்தில் நீங்கள் சுத்தமுள்ளவர்களாய் விளங்கும்போது கர்த்தரைத் தரிசிக்கக்கூடிய ஒரு பெரிய பாக்கியத்தை நீங்கள் பெற்றுக்கொள்ளுவீர்கள். வேதம் சொல்லுகிறது, "பரிசுத்தம் இல்லாமல் ஒருவனும் தேவனை தரிசிப்பதில்லையே" (எபி. 12:14).

நீங்கள் கர்த்தரைத் தரிசிக்க விரும்பினால், பாவத்தை உங்களைவிட்டு அகற்றுங்கள். பாவம் அகற்றப்பட ஒரே ஒரு வழி கிறிஸ்துவின் இரத்தத்தால் கழுவப்படுவதுதான். கிறிஸ்துவின் இரத்தம் சகல பாவங்களையும் நீக்கி உங்களை சுத்திகரிக்கும். தேவபிள்ளைகளே, இயேசுவே, உம்மைக் காண விரும்புகிறேன் என்று ஆவலோடு அவருடைய பாதத்திற்கு ஓடி வரும்போது நிச்சயமாகவே அவர் உங்களோடுகூட பேச மிகவும் ஆவலுள்ளவராயிருக்கிறார்.

நினைவிற்கு:- "அவர்கள் அவரை நோக்கிப் பார்த்துப் பிரகாசமடைந்தார்கள்; அவர்கள் முகங்கள் வெட்கப்படவில்லை" (சங். 34:5).

“Then they ... asked him, saying, “Sir, we wish to see Jesus” (John 12:21).

To have a vision of Jesus Christ is the desire of thousands of people. This is not just a desire of today but it prevails among thousands of saints from the beginning of the world.

Patients in the hospital are waiting to meet the doctors. People wait at the residence of the minister to meet him. People seeking admission for their children in colleges wait near the room of the principal. All these people are waiting for the worldly benefits.

If you desire to meet Jesus, it will bring you eternal blessings. People come up to Jesus for the healing of their physical sickness, to break the chain of the curse, to get filled with the joy of Salvation and to overflow with the anointment of the Holy Spirit.. God has promised eternal life and heavenly dwellings to those who come up to Him.

Dear children of God, do you have the desire to meet Jesus? Do you have the desire of having a vision of His golden face? Do you have a never-ending thirst to get satisfied in His image?

God also has the desire to meet you similar to how you like to see Him. Jesus said, “Come to me, all you who labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest” (Mathew 11:28). He by no means casts out those who come to Him. You may ask what the way is to have a vision of Jesus and what all you may have to follow to achieve it. The Scripture says, “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God” (Mathew 5:8).

When you are pure in your heart, you will receive the great blessing of having a vision of God. The Scripture says, “.... holiness, without which no one will see the Lord” (Hebrews 12:14).

If you want to meet Jesus, remove all the sins from you. The only way to get rid of the sins is to get washed by the blood of Jesus. The blood of Jesus Christ cleanses you from all sin. Dear children of God, when you eagerly come running to His feet saying, “Jesus, I want to see you”, He is definitely eager to speak to you.

To meditate: “They looked to Him and were radiant and their faces were not ashamed” (Psalm 34:5)
