"நான் விழிக்கும்போது இன்னும் உம்மண்டையில் இருக்கிறேன்" (சங்.139:18).

அதிகாலையிலிருந்தே கர்த்தருடைய பிரசன்னத்தை உங்களோடு கொண்டு வாருங்கள். தூங்கி எழுந்ததும் முதல் எண்ணம் கர்த்தரைப் பற்றியதாக இருக்கட்டும். கர்த்தாவே, உமக்கு காலை வந்தனம் என்று சொல்லுங்கள். அன்பு இரட்சகரின் பொன் முகத்தை ஆனந்தமாய் நோக்கிப் பாருங்கள். அநேகர் விழிக்கும்போது துயரத்தோடு விழிக்கிறார்கள். இந்த நாளில் என்னென்ன பிரச்சனைகள் வருமோ, எந்தெந்த கடன்காரர்கள் விரட்டுவார்களோ, என்று பயத்துடன் கண்விழிக்கிறார்கள். தேவ பிள்ளைகளே, நீங்கள் கர்த்தரோடு காலை வேளையை ஆரம்பித்தால், நாள் முழுவதும் தேவ சமாதானம் உங்களைச் சூழ்ந்துக் கொள்ளும்.

தாவீது, "தேவனே, நீர் என்னுடைய தேவன்; அதிகாலமே உம்மைத் தேடுகிறேன்; உமது வல்லமையையும் உமது மகிமையையும் கண்டேன்" (சங். 63:1,2) என்று தன் அனுபவத்தை எழுதுகிறார் ஒருநாளை தேவ பிரசன்னத்தோடும், மகிமையோடும் நீங்கள் ஆரம்பித்தால், அவருடைய மகிமையின் பிரசன்னம் நாள் முழுவதிலும் உங்களோடுகூட வரும். அந்த நாள் முடியும்போது உங்கள் உள்ளத்தில் சந்தோஷமும், மகிழ்ச்சியும் நிலவியிருக்கும்.

ஒரு நாள் மோசே, "ஆண்டவரே, உம்முடைய சமுகம் எனக்கு முன்பாகச் செல்லவேண்டும்" என்று கேட்டார். அதற்கு அவர்: "என் சமுகம் உனக்கு முன்பாகச் செல்லும், நான் உனக்கு இளைப்பாறுதல் தருவேன் என்றார்" (யாத். 33:14).

கர்த்தருடைய சமுகம் உங்களோடு நாள் முழுவதும் வருகிறதினாலே அவ்வப்போது ஆண்டவரோடு பேசுங்கள்; அவரைத் துதியுங்கள். உங்கள் வேலை ஸ்தலங்களிலே ஆண்டவருக்கென்று ஒரு ஆசனத்தை எடுத்துப் போட்டுக் கொள்ளுங்கள். நீங்கள் நடக்கும்போது ஆண்டவர் உங்கள் அருகிலே நடக்கிறார் என்று உணர்ந்து அவரைத் துதியுங்கள்.

ஒரு நாளின் வெற்றியும், தோல்வியும் அவன் அந்த நாளை எப்படி ஆரம்பிக்கிறான் என்பதிலிருக்கிறது. அதிகாலை வேளையை கர்த்தருக்கென்று கொடுங்கள். அவரைத் துதித்துப் பாட நேரம் ஒதுக்குங்கள். வேத வசனங்களை தியானிக்க நேரம் ஒதுக்குங்கள். ஒரு பக்தன் சொன்னார்: "அதிகாலையில் என் கண்களை திறக்கிறேன். வெளிச்சம் வருகிறது, என் வாயை திறக்கிறேன், கர்த்தருடைய வாக்குத்தத்தங்கள் வருகிறது. என் இருதயத்தைத் திறக்கிறேன், இயேசு உள்ளே வருகிறார்.

காலையிலே எழுந்ததும் கர்த்தரை உங்களுடைய கண்கள் காணுமென்றால், உங்கள் உள்ளம் நன்மையானவைகளை அடையும். உங்கள் ஆத்துமா வெற்றியையும், பரிசுத்தத்தையும் சுதந்தரித்துக் கொள்ளும். அற்புதங்களை செய்கிறவர் உங்களோடிருக்கிறதினால் நாள் முழுவதும் அற்புதங்களைப் பெறுவீர்கள். இயேசு சொன்னார்: "என்னிடத்தில் அன்பாயிருக்கிறவன் என் பிதாவுக்கு அன்பாயிருப்பான்; நானும் அவனில் அன்பாயிருந்து, அவனுக்கு என்னை வெளிப்படுத்துவேன் என்றார் (யோவான் 14:21).

நினைவிற்கு:- "அவன் என் வசனத்தைக் கைக்கொள்ளுவான், அவனில் என் பிதா அன்பாயிருப்பார்; நாங்கள் அவனிடத்தில் வந்து அவனோடே வாசம் பண்ணுவோம்" (யோவான் 14:23).

“...when I awake, I am still with you” (Psalm 139:18).

Bring the presence of God with you right from the morning itself. Let your first thought after waking up be about God. Say ‘Good Morning’ to God. Look at the golden face of the loving Saviour with joy. Many people wake up with sorrowful thoughts. They wake up with the fear over which money lender will chase them and what other problems they may have to face on that day. Dear children of God, if you begin the day with God, divine peace will surround you for the whole day.

David writes his experiences saying, “O God, you are my God; early will I seek you; ...To see your power and your glory” (Psalm 63:1, 2). If you begin a day with God’s presence and glory, His glorious presence will accompany you for the whole day. At the end of the day, happiness and joy will prevail in your heart.

One day Moses asked God, “God, let your presence go with me.” God replied, “My Presence will go with you and I will give you rest” (Exodus 33:14).

Since the presence of God accompanies you for the whole day, speak to Him every now and then. Praise Him! In your work spots have a seat exclusively for God. When you walk, realise that God is walking along with you and praise Him.

A day’s victory or defeat depends on how we begin the day. Give the early morning hours to God. Allot time to sing praising Him. Allot time to meditate on His verses. One devotee said, “I open my eyes early in the morning and the light comes. Then I open my mouth and the promises of God come. Finally, I open my heart and Jesus Christ enters into it.”

If your eyes see God as soon as you wake up, your heart will receive good things. Your soul will inherit victory and holiness. Since one who does miracles is with you, you will also receive miracles. Jesus said, “He who loves me will be loved by my Father and I will love him and manifest myself to him” (John 14:21).

To meditate: “...he will keep my word; and my Father will love him and we will come to him and make our home with him” (John 14:23).
