"கர்த்தரை நம்புகிறவனோ உயர்ந்த அடைக்கலத்திலே வைக்கப்படுவான்" (நீதி. 29:25).

கர்த்தரை நம்புங்கள். அவர்மேல் விசுவாசம் வையுங்கள். அவரைச் சார்ந்து கொள்ளுங்கள். அப்போது நீங்கள் உயர்ந்த அடைக்கலத்தில் இருப்பீர்கள். சாலொமோன் எழுதுகிறார், "கர்த்தரை நம்புகிறவனோ உயர்ந்த அடைக்கலத்திலே வைக்கப்படுவான்" (நீதி. 29:25).

ஒருமுறை பெயருக்காக கிறிஸ்தவராக இருந்த ஒருவரை நாய் கடித்துவிட்டது. அப்போது ஒரு ஊழியக்காரர் கர்த்தர் மேல் நம்பிக்கை வைக்கும்படி அவரோடுகூட பேசினார். அவர் அந்த ஊழியரைப் பார்த்து, "கர்த்தருக்கு வல்லமையுண்டு. அதே நேரத்தில் பிசாசுக்கும் வல்லமையுண்டு என்பதை நீங்கள் மறந்துவிடக்கூடாது" என்றார். அவர் கிறிஸ்தவராயிருந்தும் கர்த்தரை நம்பினதைப் பார்க்கிலும் பிசாசையே அதிகமாக நம்பினார். அவருக்காய் ஜெபித்த ஜெபமெல்லாம் வீணாய்போனது. பரிதாபமாய் நாயைப் போன்று குலைத்துக் கொண்டே மரித்தார்.

ஏசாயா தீர்க்கதரிசி, "கர்த்தரை என்றென்றைக்கும் நம்புங்கள். கர்த்தராகிய யெகோவா நித்திய கன்மலையாயிருக்கிறார்" என்கிறார். வேதத்திலே கர்த்தர் அநேக பரிசுத்தவான்களுடைய வாழ்க்கை வரலாற்றை உங்களுடைய பக்திவிருத்திக்காகவும், ஆவிக்குரிய ஜீவியத்திற்காகவும் எழுதி வைத்திருக்கிறார். அவர்களுடைய வரலாற்றை வாசித்துப் பார்த்தால், அவர்கள் தேவன்மேல் எவ்வளவு நம்பிக்கை, விசுவாசம் வைத்திருந்தார்கள் என்பதை நீங்கள் அறியலாம்.

முற்பிதாக்களெல்லாம் எவ்விதமாய் கர்த்தரை நம்பினார்கள், விசுவாசித்தார்கள், அவரை சார்ந்து கொண்டார்கள் என்பதையெல்லாம் கருத்தாய் கற்றறிந்த தாவீது மகிழ்ச்சியோடுகூட "எங்கள் பிதாக்கள் உம்மிடத்தில் நம்பிக்கை வைத்தார்கள்; நம்பின அவர்களை நீர் விடுவித்தீர்" (சங். 22:4) என்று சொல்லுகிறார். உங்களுடைய எல்லா தேவைகளுக்கும், எல்லா பிரச்சனைகளுக்கும் கர்த்தரை சார்ந்து கொள்ளுங்கள். உங்களுடைய எதிர்காலத்தை அவர் அருமையா வழிநடத்த வல்லமையுள்ளவர் என்பதை விசுவாசியுங்கள்.

நீங்கள் வாழ்க்கையில் செழித்தோங்க வேண்டுமென்று விரும்பினால். அந்த செழிப்பு கர்த்தரிடத்திலிருந்தே வரவேண்டும் என்பதையும் அறிந்துகொள்ளுங்கள். கர்த்தருடைய ஆசீர்வாதமே ஐசுவரியத்தைத் தரும். அவர் அதோடே வேதனையைக் கூட்டார். எந்த சூழ்நிலையிலும் கர்த்தர் மேலேயே நம்பிக்கை வையுங்கள்.

யோபு சொல்லுகிறார், "அவர் என்னை கொன்றுபோட்டாலும், அவர்மேல் நம்பிக்கையாயிருப்பேன்" (யோபு 13:15). ஆகவே கர்த்தர் "யோபின் முன்நிலைமையைப் பார்க்கிலும் அவன் பின் நிலைமையை ஆசீர்வதித்தார்" (யோபு 42:12). ஆபிரகாமைப் பாருங்கள். அவர் கர்த்தரையே நம்பி தன்னுடைய ஊரைவிட்டு வெளியே வந்தார். அதன் மூலமாக பூமி தாங்கக்கூடாத அளவு ஆடுகளும், மாடுகளும், செல்வமும் அவருக்கு கிடைத்தன. அங்கேயிருந்த ஜாதிகளுக்குள்ளே ஆபிரகாம் மகா பிரபுவாய்க் காணப்பட்டார்.

தேவபிள்ளைகளே, கர்த்தர்மேல் நம்பிக்கை வையுங்கள். நீங்கள் நிச்சயமாகவே செழிப்பீர்கள்.

நினைவிற்கு:- "உன் வழியைக் கர்த்தருக்கு ஒப்புவித்து, அவர்மேல் நம்பிக்கையாயிரு; அவரே காரியத்தை வாய்க்கப்பண்ணுவார்" (சங். 37:5).

“...whoever trusts in the Lord shall be safe” (Proverbs 29:25).

Believe God. Keep your faith in Him. Lean upon Him. Then you will be safe. Solomon writes, "Whoever trusts in the Lord will be safe."

Once there was a namesake Christian and he was bitten by a dog. At that time a servant of God talked to him and insisted him to place his faith on God. But the man replied, "God has power indeed. But you should not forget that satan also has the power." Though he was a Christian, his faith was more on satan than God. All the prayers made for him became a waste and he died in a pathetic way barking like a dog.

Isaiah the prophet says, "Trust in the Lord forever, for in Yah, the Lord, is everlasting strength (Isaiah 26:4). God has written the life histories of so many saints in the Scripture for you to develop your piety and Spiritual life. When you go through them, you will understand how greatly they had placed their faith in God.

After carefully learning how all the forefathers believed God, trusted Him and leaned upon Him, David said with glee, "Our fathers trusted in you; they trusted and you delivered them" (Psalm 22:4). Rely upon God for all your needs and problems. Believe that He is mighty to guide your future wonderfully.

If you want to become prosperous in life, you should know that prosperity should come only from God. "The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, And He adds no sorrow with it" (Proverbs 10:22). Place your faith on God in all circumstances. Job says, “Though He slays me, yet will I trust Him. Even so, I will defend my own ways before Him” (Job 13:15). So, the Lord blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning (Job 42:12). Look at Abraham. He placed his faith on God and left all he had for a land he knew not of. This faith made him very rich in livestock, gold and silver. He became the mighty prince among all the nations.

Dear children of God, place your trust in God. You will definitely prosper.

To meditate: “Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him and He shall bring it to pass” (Psalm 37:5).
